A world-record perovskite solar cell
Aiming at the incompatibility between the transfer layer and the perovskite layer in perovskite solar cell, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the perovskite solar cell is successfully increased to 26.22% by using the dipole precisely adjustable interface connecting layer molecules. The perovskite/perovskite tandem solar cells use two thin film absorbing layers, which can minimize the levelized cost of energy. The strong barrier and photoelectric qualities of the intermediate layer are crucial to the perovskite/perovskite tandem solar cell because the two absorbent films melt into one another. We created a micro-doped SnO2 intermediate layer in order to boost the efficiency of all-perovskite tandem solar cells to above 28.5%, which is close to the world record efficiency. The perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell is a reasonable choice that can break through the efficiency limitations of silicon cells. Wide-bandgap perovskite top cell is the key part of tandem cell, and the energy level mismatch between wide-bandgap perovskite and electron transport layer is an important factor for the low efficiency of the top cell. By using multiple and interface control methods, the prepared wide-bandgap subcell was certified by a third-party authority, and the efficiency reached 22.32%, breaking the world record for this type of solar cells. Based on the developed high-efficiency wide-bandgap perovskite solar cell, the efficiency of perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell has reached more than 30%, reaching the international advanced level.
