Additive-compound technology
This study considers the possibility to use existing additive technologies for manufacture of strong, heat-resistant functional products consisting of a hollow shell (polymeric materials) filled withepoxy or polyester resins. Thefinished product consists of a composite or functionally gradient material.Experiments were conducted pertaining to use of additive and compound technology. Problems related to use of additive and compound technologies as well as ways to resolve them were considered.

Additive compound technology eliminates the limitations of 3D printing using a filler (epoxy and polyester resins, compounds or other liquid material to be subsequently cured). The problems of porosity and interlayer adhesion in 3D printing of parts are solved. And the sample with partial filling has positive buoyancy and low weight of the product. Examples of the use of 100% filling are various functional products (brackets, stops and power structures, load–bearing)
