Today, we rely on knowledge being universally available. Openness is a key principle of the corporate culture of the Russian Railways Holding. We don’t stop learning when we finish school or graduate from university – Lifelong learning is a popular concept of knowledge acquisition in modern society. The Corporate University of Russian Railways develops and promotes open learning as a new element of the business education system in the railway industry. Since 2018, all Russian Railways Holding employees have been able to use the open online courses and the university’s electronic library, completely free of charge.

Knowledge.Express workshops are held online so that every railway worker has the opportunity to pass the course. All lectures and lessons are recorded and published in the internal Distance Learning System of JSC Russian Railways, which allows railway workers to watch or review a lecture any time they like (even a year after the lecture was given).
