Reduction of defective products using an upgraded photo sorter in JSC Voronezhsintezkauchuk.
Problem and implemented solution
Description: Butadiene polymers may have inappropriate quality and as a result be sold at a discount due to undesirable inclusions (including metal inclusions) and a mass fraction losses of volatile matter in the final products. Solution: Application a photo sorter equipped with an intelligent video surveillance system allows to detect, sort and eliminate granules have different from the target product color. Installed magnetic grids remove detected metal inclusions and additional drying of the finished product allows achieving the required parameters of volatile matter of butadiene polymers.
