Problem and implemented solution

According to the Food and Agricultural organization of the UN 40% of crop production is lost to pests and the amount of damage brought by the insect pests estimates over 70 billion of dollars per year. And the rate of growth is accelerated each year due to the global warming. That’s why the insect pests are widely considered to be the major agricultural problem. The current solution to the Problem is the use of chemical insecticides. We say that this way is ineffective, especially in long term, because living organisms are known to develop resistances to chemical insecticides. This causes large corporations spend billions of dollars to research new formulae and introduce new products to the market. We also say that these poisons are extremely dangerous for ecology and health, i.e.: • Soil degrades; • Ecosystems are being destruct; • Rising carbon gas emissions; • Carcinogenic effects grow while human body’s functions disrupt We offer an alternative way. Our solution is to spread beneficial insects – the enemies of insect pest – applying them with the use of air drones (UAVs).

One standard unit serving 100,000 hectares can be deployed from scratch in 4-6 months, including the production of the required number of entomophages.

Implementation geography

We have developed protection schemes for 18 crops. We tested our techs in variety of conditions in 20+ regions of Russia with their own climatic and geographical features.

Description of competitive advantages

Our technology brings direct economic benefits to the farmer: the customer gets increased yields: a) Cheaper than top chemicals with application by means of land-based vehicles or UAV-sprayers – 25-30 USD per ha. b) More effective than the top chemicals – no resistances; c) 100% suitable for the organic; d) The customer gets increased yields because the plants do not suffer from chemical stress. e) 7-10 times increased rate of implementation than with traditional sprayers or drone-sprayers that use chemicals. We developed a unique system for the precise fast application with drones, and an insect monitoring service to deal with pests on egg or larva stages, before any harm is done. We protect high-margin crops such as maize, soy, sunflower.
