Electromagnetic installation for non-reactive prevention of paraffin deposits in oil pipelines and wells
In the process of oil and gas production, paraffin deposits occur in oil pipelines and oil wells, depending on the operating conditions. The fight against them is one of the urgent and important problems and requires significant material and labor costs. The formation of deposits inside pipelines, GNO leads to significant losses in oil production, significant costs, due to: - reduction of the passage section of the pipeline, GNO, - increase in the specific energy consumption of GNO, - high costs of restoring the operability of the pipeline, GNO. A flow-through electromagnetic installation is proposed that affects oil in tubing and oil pipelines through the action of an alternating electromagnetic field - this leads to a change in the properties of oil, leads to a decrease in the viscosity of the liquid and a decrease in the temperature of paraffin formation. In the installation, an alternating electromagnetic field affects oil, as a result of which its properties irrevocably change and decrease: the temperature of paraffin release from oil, the dynamics of paraffin deposits on the inner surface of the pipeline, the surface of the PMO, the viscosity of oil, as an additional effect, oil is locally heated. These effects make it possible to transport oil through an oil pipeline without releasing paraffin in the solid phase. The installation includes an electromagnetic installation, a step-up transformer, a control station with a CHP (the delivery does not include cable, an electrical equipment maintenance site, and materials for ground equipment). The cost of the installation is declared upon request and depends on the capacity, operating conditions, and engineering results. Before concluding the contract, engineering (calculations) are carried out to select an installation for a specific outlet line (pipeline). The delivery period is 4-5 months from the date of signing the contract. At the well of PJSC Tatneft, the ODA has now been completed with payment based on the results of the ODA - the launch date is 03/21/2020, the installation has worked on 2 wells, the results of the ODA are positive - all success criteria have been met. At the moment, the installation continues to work. If there is an installation on the well, the discharge line did not stop due to paraffin deposits – the installation prevents paraffin deposits.

Russia, oil-producing countries
There are quite a lot of solutions in this area on the market: 1. Reagent methods - dosing of paraffin deposition inhibitors, periodic cleaning of pipelines with solvents, disadvantages – high operating costs – high cost of reagents, the need to stop pumping oil, high energy costs for pumping. 2. Non-reactive methods: - heating of liquid by heating elements, disadvantages: deposition of heavy hydrocarbons on the heating surface, low heating efficiency, high electricity consumption, low service life of heating elements, – heating of liquid by track heaters (PP) operating on associated gas disadvantages: high cost of installations and infrastructure, the need for associated produced gas in the required amount. Our solution does not have the above disadvantages and effectively prevents paraffin deposition.
