International Standardization of UAS Terminology

Problem and implemented solution

The key points of the problem that the project aims to address in the context of BRICS communication: inconsistent terminology across countries; hindrance to international collaboration; challenges in certification and regulation; certification and regulatory standards); 4. barriers; translation and documentation issues; Our web application is the cornerstone of this project, offering the following key features: 1. Multilingual Electronic Dictionary and Thesaurus: This tool provides definitions and usage examples of UAS terms in five languages: Russian, English, Chinese, French, and Spanish. By doing so, it ensures that all stakeholders, regardless of their native language, can access and understand the correct terminology. 2. UAS Term Aggregator: The aggregator continuously collects and organizes new terms emerging in the UAS industry. This helps keep the dictionary up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations. 3. UAS Documentation Compiler: This feature assists in creating standardized UAS documentation in Russian and English, with plans to expand to other languages. It ensures that documents are consistent and adhere to industry standards, facilitating smoother certification processes and international cooperation.

Description of competitive advantages

The project offers several key competitive advantages that set it apart from existing solutions in the market: 1. Multilingual Support: Unlike the existing ISO 21384-4:2020 and ГОСТ Р 57258-2016, which lack translations into Chinese, French, and Spanish, our project provides a comprehensive electronic dictionary and explanatory glossary of UAS terms in five popular languages: Russian, English, Chinese, French, and Spanish. This ensures broader accessibility and utility for international users. 2. Continuous Terminology Updates: Our project features an aggregator for new UAS terms, ensuring that the terminology database remains current and relevant. This contrasts with static solutions that do not regularly update their terminologies, leading to outdated and potentially inaccurate information. 3. Contextual Usage and Examples: The project offers definitions, contexts, and examples of term usage, enhancing the understanding and correct application of terms. Existing tools like ISO 21384-4:2020, ГОСТ Р 57258-2016 and common translation services often lack this level of detail, making our solution more robust and user-friendly. 4. Integrated Documentation Tools: The project includes a compiler for standard UAS documentation in Russian and English, with plans to expand to other languages. This tool aids in the creation of standardized technical documents, which is not a feature typically found in translation services or static glossaries. 5. Tailored Translation and Editing Services**: LLC "Terminolog+" offers specialized services for editing and translating UAS documentation, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to standardized terminology. This addresses the limitations of general translation services like Google.
