The ICBC Business Matchmaking(BMM) platform is a comprehensive cross-border matching service platform independently developed by ICBC based on its cross-border business network and huge customer base, integrating product display, demand release, supply and demand matching, online negotiation, policy information, etc. Based on the positioning of "information intermediary" and "service intermediary" for global corporate supply and demand matching, it helps companies obtain supply and demand information and related services in the fields of commodities, technology, projects, capital, etc., expand sales channels, solve the problem of information asymmetry in the cooperation process, and provide "one-stop" financial services such as transaction settlement and financing support.

Description of competitive advantages

1. Strengthen the digital service capabilities of the platform and enable cross-border interconnection of SMEs. By the end of June 2024, the BMM platform has more than 544,000 corporate customers from 75 countries and regions, and has released nearly 50,000 items of supply and demand information such as commodities, technologies, and projects, with 120 million visits to the platform. 2. Organize high-quality cross-border matchmaking activities to support the market expansion of SMEs. By the end of June 2024, 378 matchmaking activities (including cross-border matchmaking and rural-revitalization matchmaking) were held, and nearly 55,900 cooperation intentions were promoted. Among them, there were nearly 30 bilateral and multilateral economic and trade promotion activities between China and other "BRICS+" countries, which promoted nearly 1,000 cooperation intentions. 3. Improve the adaptability of financial services and help small and medium-sized enterprises develop high-quality. In view of the characteristics of "scattered, small, frequent and urgent" for financial needs of small and micro enterprises. By the end of June 2024, the balance of inclusive financing for customers on the BMM platform was nearly 100 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 10 billion yuan from the beginning of the year.
