Rapidly growing technologies and their immediate usage in several economical fields in Russia require approaches for staff preparation. A lack for employees at industrial factories in Russia is being evaluated in amount of 3 million people. The traditional professional education system of Russia offers the graduates only after 4-6 years of education. One of the high crowded industrial areas of Russia – the Special economic zone “Alabuga” (SEZ “Alabuga”) located in the Republic of Tatarstan that hosts more than 20 000 workers and 60 factories on its site and ensures an annual sales revenue of 2 billion USD, has implemented a dual form of staff preparation among students. So in 2019 an engineering educational center “Alabuga Polytech” was created on the territory of SEZ “Alabuga” for young people graduated from schools and started their professional education.

More than 18 educational branches as industrial automation and mechatronics, unmanned aircraft systems programming, business informatics, CNC machines programing, electronics, BIM-modeling and others are available within technically equipped laboratories with high-qualified engineers as tutors. In “Alabuga Polytech” students are getting needed professional skills right after entering the program and apply them on their working places just in time. 100% of all students are getting their jobs when starting the education in “Alabuga Polytech” from the very first days and making their careers before getting diploma of colleges. So when graduating, the participants of this program have at least 3 years of official working experience. The amount of students as for today is 4600 people in common with targeted amount of 10 000 student for September 2025.
