Photon endoscope for oncological disease
The goal of the project is to save more than 9 million lives annually through a minimally invasive photon endoscope for the treatment of oncological diseases. The main objective is to create a device with technology that allows for cancer treatment while preserving healthy cells and the affected organ itself. The development of a photon endoscope for the treatment of oncological diseases has the potential for international scalability, opening new opportunities to assist cancer patients around the world.

he project includes the following aspects: - Increasing the penetration depth of laser radiation into cancer cells using a new endoscope lens equipped with a dielectric microsphere. This will enhance the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in stages 3 and 4 of cancer; - Improving the localization of impact on cancer cells to 10 micrometers and protecting healthy cells from damage; - Obtaining images of tissue and its chemical composition, which allows for the detection of pathologies and changes in tissues at the earliest stage; - Manipulating tissues at the level of individual cells while simultaneously obtaining spectroscopic data, which helps to better understand the processes occurring within and to develop more effective treatment methods; - Accelerating the tissue regeneration process after laser therapy to reduce patient recovery time and improve their quality of life.
