"Integrated (OEM) digital video and data link for UAVs."

Problem and implemented solution

The drone market is experiencing substantial growth, yet manufacturers face a significant challenge: the need for reliable communication systems for UAVs. Currently, the options available on the market are limited and often come with high costs and complex integration processes, making it difficult for manufacturers to incorporate these systems into their products efficiently. Our solution is an affordable, integrable digital video transmission and control system designed specifically for UAVs. This solution consists of a hardware communication module and software code that can be seamlessly embedded in both ground and aerial units of the drones. This allows manufacturers to equip any UAV with a reliable digital video channel, as well as a control line and telemetry transmission, enhancing their operational capabilities. By adopting our solution, UAV manufacturers can significantly reduce production costs, eliminate reliance on Western component supply chains, and accelerate their time to market for new products. This positions them to capitalize on the growing demand for advanced drone technology, ensuring they stay competitive in an expanding market.

Description of competitive advantages

The competitive advantages of our digital video transmission and control system for UAVs lie in its ability to transmit up to four real-time video streams at a resolution of 1080p at 30fps, coupled with bidirectional telemetry and command control capabilities, all in a compact 40x50 mm and 23 g device. It supports multiple video sources using advanced compression standards (H264/H265) and integrates easily with telemetry protocols like MavLink via UART, ensuring versatile application across various UAV models. With robust 256-bit data encryption for enhanced security, plus up to four supported radio modules and various connection options, the system can accommodate diverse operational needs. Furthermore, its frequency range of 5160 to 5980 MHz, along with a wideband mode offering double channel bandwidth (40 MHz), and the provision for backend GUI integration makes it a technologically advanced and efficient choice for manufacturers looking to streamline UAV production and boost capability while reducing costs.
