Biological solution for increasing efficiency and productivity of mineral fertilizers (Biomineral fertilizers – BMF)
The world is facing decreasing efficiency of mineral fertilizers due to numerous reasons including soil degradation, low mineral assimilation rate and insufficient use of mineral fertilizers. Our solution is to significantly increase the efficiency of mineral fertilizers by coating granules with specific bacteria using our patented technology. This increases the efficiency of mineral fertilizers by 25-50% or more, depending on the type of mineral fertilizer and the type of crop. Mineral fertilizer manufacturers can use both the liquid and the powder solution of our technology to produce biomineral fertilizers (BMF). The powder technology requires the manufacturer to have a mixing facility which are often used for adding anti-caking agent. If the liquid technology is used, the manufacturers can install a sprinkler above the transportation line which will sprinkle the bacteria directly onto the granules of the mineral fertilizers. This way the cost of implementation is minimal. Additionally, our technology provides ecological benefits due to better absorption of mineral nutrition from granules by plants, as well as increased biological activity of soil enriched with agronomically useful microorganisms.

Fertilizer manufacturing technologies
In order to implement our technology into producing facilities we require anywhere from half a year to a year. Simultaneously the mineral fertilizer manufacturer undergoes the process of registration of the new biomineral fertilizer with all the necessary trials. This process may take from 1 to 2 years depending on the region.
Currently the technology is being realized in Russian Federation. Multiple field tests have been carried out in the European countries and Southeast Asian countries. This year we have started working with multiple international companies (mineral fertilizers manufacturers) from Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and Oman. The goal of the project is to implement the technology worldwide.
Biological component of BMF enables final consumers of the product (farmers and agricultural companies) to get increased yield as well as increased quality of the yield. For example, in the field test carried out on peas biomodified urea has given an increase of 26,7% in yield volume compared to the same urea without biomodification and 20,2% increase in a similar field test on spring wheat. Likewise, biomodified NPK-fertilizer has given an increase of 35% in yield volume of spring wheat compared to the same NPK-fertilizer without modification. Low cost of the biomodifier enables all the parties of the process (biomodifier producer, mineral fertilizer manufacturer and agricultural companies) to get high returns with up to 10 dollars of extra profit for 1 dollar spent on biomineral fertilizers. Increase in the global food security and environmental benefits of the technology are aimed to benefit the society globally.
