Lack of transparency in Russian international student recruitment market - market is dominated by agents who take large fees from applicants and do not provide transparency to applicants in terms of university selection. Russian Universities: due to shifting geopolitical trends, have less resources available to directly reach international applicants in social media, thus more reliance on physical travel and local agents. UniStars provides a centralized platform for applicants to engage directly with verified universities and university representatives, and is represented in international markets, thus relieving stress for applicants as well as universities. UniStars is a place applicants can receive authentic information about studies in Russia and meet other applicants and international students currently in Russia. Currently, there are around 350,000 international students in Russia. As per order by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, by 2023 there should be 500,000 international students studying in the Russian Higher Education system. We believe that UniStars, through the power of peer-to-peer marketing, will be a key factor in this growth by opening Russian higher education to new markets as well as strengthen existing connections.

UniStars was founded in March 2023 and the implementation of MVP took roughly 12 months. We estimate that an additional 24 months of development and marketing will lead to a market leading product for the Russian market in addition to BRICS countries.

Implementation geography

The product has been developed in the Russian Federation. The plan is for this product to be available globally - in any market where there is interest in studying at a Russian Higher Education institution. Especially in BRICS countries where there will be a great deal of economic and political integration. We plan to leverage all Digitial marketing capabilities to market the product globally. If there is a specific interest for a localized product, we could work with new global partners to launch localized products abroad.

Scalable technology - mobile application first strategy connects with younger demographic of user who spends time on mobile devices for news and communication, social media. International team - Our team has international experience, understands best practices globally in the higher education sphere and is ready to implement. Big Data analytics- while we are able to gather data and analytics in our app from users, we are able to improve decision making for our partners as well as leverage this information to innovate and improve our product. Leveraging this analysis, we are able to make recommendations and suggestions to users that will improve the entire user experience regarding choosing an institution. Uniqueness - the product and concept is unique on the Russian market, competition in this market segment is not incredibly high. Most solutions are on a university basis - top universities have developed their own applicant portals and apps, but there is no centralized platform for applicants to meet and engage with several universities at once.
