INOVA WEEK UVV, the largest innovation event in Espírito Santo, stands out for its unique approach to addressing major global challenges. With a strong focus on sustainability and the use of emerging technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), the Event tackles a wide range of issues, from solid waste management to the development of smart cities. It also emphasizes the efficient use of technology to enhance the quality of life, particularly in urban areas, where solutions related to mobility and infrastructure play a crucial role. In 2023, the Event showcased 535 innovative projects, each offering practical solutions to these challenges. The social and economic impact of INOVA WEEK is also reflected in the substantial participation of over 15,000 people in 2023, with an expected 23,000 participants in 2024, including students, entrepreneurs, and professionals from various fields. The projects presented compete for awards, with over R$60,000 distributed in 2023, encouraging the continuous development of new ideas. Throughout the week, 13 simultaneous events take place, providing a space for practical learning, networking, training, and discussions on topics relevant to the planet's future and society. INOVA WEEK UVV identifies critical issues and provides an environment for creating, discussing, and implementing solutions, making it an innovation engine and sustainable development.

The Event began in 2016 as a technology-focused event. By 2017, it expanded to all undergraduate courses, officially becoming INOVA WEEK. Over 300 groups presented their projects. In 2018, new categories such as InovaBusiness and high school tracks (InovaTeen and InovaTrek) were introduced. In 2019, the Event refined its focus, selecting only 50 projects, of which 15 received awards and participated in business rounds. After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the Event returned in 2022 with innovations like Startup Investments and a Talent Show. The 2023 edition introduced InnoScience, dedicated to international research, and Convention On, expanding the Event's offerings.
