Digital professions and competencies for everyone

Problem and implemented solution

There are currently about a million children and adolescents in Russia with limited health opportunities (hereinafter referred to as HIA) who do not have full access to digital services, competencies, and even more so digital professions. In 2023, we developed an adaptive educational program for blind and visually impaired schoolchildren, based on the research and practices of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution "Institute of Correctional Pedagogy of the Russian Academy of Education", which allows not only to acquire competencies and computer skills, but also to learn complex programming languages - C, Java to create gaming applications – "Development of game worlds in Java. This is an opportunity for every citizen with DISABILITIES to unleash their potential in programming and related fields, get a highly sought–after profession and ensure digital equality for them. So, people with disabilities have a future.
