Low literacy levels challenge education in Africa, where traditional text-based methods fail to meet the needs of functionally illiterate communities. Language barriers further complicate learning, as many students use European languages as second or third languages. In contrast, VR offers interactive, visual learning experiences, significantly shortening training timelines and enhancing knowledge transfer.
Naledi3D Factory received an "honourable mention" at the World Summit Awards (2009) for work with farmers in Zimbabwe, selected from over 20,000 project nominations across 154 countries.
