Street art is becoming increasingly popular and in demand all over the world. Over the past 5 years, the number of street art objects in major cities around the world has increased by 30%. Street art works are used to improve urban space by applying thematic graffiti drawings (murals) to houses and buildings, thereby forming the cultural landscape of the city. When drawing such art objects at high altitudes, there are problems associated with increased safety risks for the artist. In addition, there is a shortage of competent specialists in this area, which determines the high cost of such work. The artist drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle with increased maneuverability in gusts of wind. The design is a coaxial hexacopter with a maximum take-off weight of 5 kilograms, with a paint spraying system and a wall collision protection system installed on the frame. The original positioning system includes a high-resolution camera that determines the drone's location relative to the wall plane, and a lidar - it measures the distance to the wall and the angle of rotation of the drone. The developed software translates a drawing of a person in vector SVG format into control commands that ensure precise trajectory following. The created robotic solution, designed for applying large-size images according to specified sketches on vertical surfaces and capable of working on buildings of any height, solves the listed problems, and replication of this product in the future will reduce the cost of producing street art objects.
