STP water to Green Hydrogen

STP water to Green Hydrogen Project Brief: Green hydrogen is considered pivotal for producing clean energy and Green Fuel, Fertilizer and other value added compounds. Each kg of Hydrogen requires approx. 10 kg of pure water. It is a water and power intensive process. In water stressed country, including India, it will not be prudent to utilise potable water for production of hydrogen. Therefore, a way to utilise STP water for hydrogen generation was taken up through this project. The plant comprises of six units namely a) power supply to the System from solar PV plant, b) Electro Dialysis Reversal (EDR) system, c) Hydrogen generation unit (PEM Electrolyser 6.5 kg/hr X 6hrs), d) hydrogen compression unit, e)Hydrogen storage unit (50 kg at 200 bar), f) fuel cell based power production unit (Fuel cell 25kWe net for 18 hrs) In the present case, STP water from Greater NOIDA authority is being converted to process water through Electro-Dialysis Reversal (EDR) Process. EDR is an Electro-membrane process of water purification having much less power consumption and more yield of pure water which is being used for Electrolysis. The hydrogen so generated is being stored at 200 bar and being used for power generation through fuel cell.

Biological solution for increasing efficiency and productivity of mineral fertilizers (Biomineral fertilizers – BMF)

The world is facing decreasing efficiency of mineral fertilizers due to numerous reasons including soil degradation, low mineral assimilation rate and insufficient use of mineral fertilizers. Our solution is to significantly increase the efficiency of mineral fertilizers by coating granules with specific bacteria using our patented technology. This increases the efficiency of mineral fertilizers by 25-50% or more, depending on the type of mineral fertilizer and the type of crop. Mineral fertilizer manufacturers can use both the liquid and the powder solution of our technology to produce biomineral fertilizers (BMF). The powder technology requires the manufacturer to have a mixing facility which are often used for adding anti-caking agent. If the liquid technology is used, the manufacturers can install a sprinkler above the transportation line which will sprinkle the bacteria directly onto the granules of the mineral fertilizers. This way the cost of implementation is minimal. Additionally, our technology provides ecological benefits due to better absorption of mineral nutrition from granules by plants, as well as increased biological activity of soil enriched with agronomically useful microorganisms.

Creation of an eco-packaging based on solar energy with the involvement of recycled plastic (Vivilen brand)

Waste generation has increased significantly worldwide in recent decades, and this growth is expected to continue. Over 2 billion tons of municipal solid waste (MSW) are generated annually worldwide, and this figure is expected to increase by approximately 70% by 2050. With such huge volumes of waste generated, the need for governments to provide adequate waste treatment and disposal services becomes even more important. In Russia, the share of recycled waste has decreased from 52% to 43% over the past 5 years, meaning that a significant share of waste is sent to landfill. Despite the increase in the total volume of waste generated, the absolute value for disposal and neutralization changes insignificantly from year to year. This suggests that there are no reserves in the capacity of existing disposal facilities (including capacities for separate collection, sorting and processing of production and consumption waste). Solution: Efficient management of industrial waste is one of the pressing issues of improving the environmental friendliness of production and reducing the overall costs (expenses) of enterprises by minimizing environmental risks associated with waste management. Recycling waste into products is one of the main elements of the transition to a closed-loop economy. SIBUR's products are used in most industries. SIBUR strives to develop new products that are safe for consumers and the environment, use sustainable raw materials and, thereby, implement the principles of a closed-loop economy at all stages of the value chain. One of SIBUR's strategic goals is to promote the involvement of at least 100 thousand tons of polymer waste annually in recycling within the framework of its own investment projects and projects with partners. In 2019, SIBUR began implementing a project at one of its production facilities, the POLIEF plant in the Republic of Bashkortostan, to launch the production of "green" PET granules containing secondary raw materials, powered by electricity from a solar power plant. In 2022, the production of "green" PET granules containing secondary raw materials and a solar power plant were launched. The capacity of the solar power plant is 4.9 MW, the area is 8 hectares (11 football fields), the number of solar panels is 10,080. POLIEF became the first industrial enterprise of SIBUR to use green electricity in the production of products - PET granules with the involvement of secondary raw materials. The technology for creating eco-packaging using electricity from a solar power plant with the involvement of recycled plastic can become a comprehensive solution to environmental pollution problems, reducing the amount of waste, emissions of pollutants (including greenhouse gases). This technology allows you to create packaging that is environmentally friendly, safe for the environment and recyclable.

Made in BRICS. B4B Marketplace & Social Blockchain

BRICS countries face a challenge of technological and intellectual leadership in continuously complicated political and business environment. New sanctions introduced every day, problems with international settlements and logistics, attempts to limit access to advanced technologies create barriers for economic and technological growth and increase business costs. It is crucially important for BRICS business entities to cooperate with each other, cut costs, quickly find new reliable partners in joint projects and empower each other in their effort to innovate and grow. Also, it’s important that such cooperation is not slowed down and limited by bulky hierarchical management structures, which are especially slow and inefficient in multicultural, multi-time zone and truly global environment. These challenges are successfully solved when businesses find partners, register deals and settle arguments in a nature-like decentralized environment managed by protocols. Reliability of a business partner is 100% transparent and visible in blockchain record of his deals. Any dispute is solved in 72 hours inside the system, no legal expenses involved. Fraudulent participants are blocked at once. These are the major features of the B4B marketplace “Made in BRICS” based on social solidarity blockchain SolidWord. In our marketplace one can choose a business partner using reliability score which is calculated as percentage of deals closed without claims in total amount of deals registered by this person on “Made in BRICS”. The numbers are stored on a blockchain and can not be anyhow modified, no matter how much funds a business is eager to spend on marketing and ratings improvement. Search by type of technological processes is also available, which is especially important for innovative products, when one is creating a new thing and can rather find a subcontractor who performes a specific process (i.e., electroplating, extrusion molding, etc.) than a unit name, as such unit has never been produced before. If an argument between a deal parties happens, they can settle it in 72 hours with their peacemakers – respected business partners of both parties, who agree to work out acceptable solution with each other. This process does not require any extra legal costs or spending months in courts, while its efficiency has been proved historically in two independent periods and locations. A web-based interface of “Made in BRICS” is accessible to any person who registers in system by putting in his e-mail address and phone number. After confirming two peacemakers in the SolidWord system, one can start registering his deals and finding subcontractors, and the results of deals, confirmed by both parties, become a basis of reliability calculation for each deal party. Historically, the peacemaking algorithm has been successfully used in Kazakhstan in late 80s, and currently it is applied by project participants in their business and social projects.
