Our solution is scalable. The second functionality of our solution is the extraction of water from wells.

Preeclampsia is a hypertensive disorder causing significant morbidity and mortality in pregnant women, unborn foetuses and newborns. This condition manifests symptomatically, and can be currently diagnosed only after 20 weeks of gestation. High blood pressure, proteinuria, and vital organ damage are common symptoms. As preeclampsia can strike quickly, potentially causing severe and immediate complications (such as seizures and organ failure that threaten both the health of the baby and mother) unless the pregnancy is induced, early and point of care screening and diagnostic tests are needed. Currently, there are no tests available for screening pregnant women to determine the risk of PE development. We have developed PEscreen, a screening test for all pregnant women which can predict preeclampsia development in the upcoming weeks of gestation based on circulating levels of a placenta specific preeclampsia biomarker. This test is to be performed when the women visit their gynaecologist during the fixed, routine check-ups.

Problems and solutions One in ten sudden deaths is caused by aortic pathology (dissection or rupture). At the same time, mortality in the first 48 hours can reach 80-90% without surgical treatment. Therefore, the main method of treatment is heart and aorta surgery. The most urgent problem of the modern healthcare system in the world is the shortage of qualified personnel. The first important task to be solved is the problem of the "Golden Hour" - optimizing the time for which the patient should be examined and treated. However, modern diagnostic algorithms take at least 1-1.5 hours, while the patient should already be in the operating room 1 hour after admission. In addition, the help of experts in aortic surgery is important, but they are not available 24/7. The second task is to manage patients in the "Gray Zone", i.e. patients with borderline changes, when extensive specialist experience is important or a consultation is required, as well as dynamic monitoring. In remote regions of the country, it is often extremely difficult to find experienced specialists to solve such problems. Problem solving: 1. Increasing the expertise of clinics and individual experts, creating specialized teams (Heart Team, Aortic Team) 2. Telemedicine (however, experts are not available around the clock) 3. Expert systems and artificial intelligence Our solution: Development of Russia's first artificial intelligence in cardiac surgery and cardiology. Our product is a web service based on an ensemble of neural networks for the diagnosis of heart and vascular diseases (a medical decision support system, an online service, a chatbot). As a direct product, the consumer receives a research protocol and recommendations for further treatment tactics, including an operation plan. Our service allows you to speed up the diagnosis by 10 times. We are currently developing the "Aorta" product.

The complex process of oil refining and production of petroleum products includes the stage of forecasting the quality of output products. In case of insufficiently accurate forecasting, there is a risk of increased rejects, loss of resources, reduction of quality output. To increase the efficiency of oil refineries, there is a demand for improvement of quality indicators of oil refining units by reducing the deviation of real values of product quality indicators from the specification boundary (acceptable quality values). Previously, models were used in predicting the quality of products (diesel fuel), which did not always contribute to the output of quality products. There is a risk in the production of petroleum products: - out of specification. This results in product rejects. - leaving a significant reserve up to specification limits specification boundaries, which leads to loss of resources and reduction of quality products output and increase of waste. Therefore, the forecasting stage in the production of petroleum products is very important. In addition, predictive quality models can reduce the number of complex and expensive laboratory tests, due to the improvement of the quality of the output product. In order to improve the accuracy of existing models, machine learning based models were developed. A digital tool, a virtual analyzer (VA), based on a machine learning model was formed, which allows predicting the flash point of hydrotreated diesel fraction in real time with an error of no more than 2°C (2°C better than the current solution) without additional laboratory tests. A VIRTUAL ANALYZER is a model that shows the current value of a product quality indicator based on refining process data such as temperature, pressure, and archived laboratory measurements. Improving forecast accuracy with AI-based models helps stabilize quality indicators of high-margin products, reduce costs and increase production volumes.

You might think this is a service delivery problem but this time it’s not. The reason for the delay is that you cannot navigate in my township of Mdantsane & other rural areas in East London with the worlds leading navigation apps like Google Maps & Waze because there are no street names in these areas and the numerical numbers go up to the 1000s, also the numerical sequencing of the houses is not in the commonly used sequence of “odds and evens” as used in the urban areas, which adds to the struggle and confusion of locating any household. We solved this problem by plotting all households coordinates and then build a prototype to illustrate its works. We added other features to make the app desirable to users and investors.

Description of Problem: The artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) sector in South Africa faces many systemic challenges, including poor infrastructure for mineral testing, weak traceability mechanisms, and limited access to reliable market information. High entry barriers, inefficient supply chains, and unregulated trade further result in untraceable, often illicitly sourced minerals. This lack of regulation worsens the exploitation of ASM miners, who are denied fair pricing and international market access, and also leads to significant economic losses for governments due to uncollected taxes. Illicit trade undermines legitimate markets, while the absence of formal structures prevents ASM miners from equitably participating in the value chain. Given that over 75% of the mining workforce is ASM, there is an urgent need to formalize and support these groups. A just transition would drive sustainable economic development by integrating ASM miners into regulated trade channels, providing fair remuneration, and opening access to international markets. This would also secure the livelihoods of local communities reliant on mining and improve tax revenue by curbing illicit activities. Solution: SIRIUS, a Mineral Trading Platform, addresses these issues by closing infrastructure gaps, promoting market access, and ensuring traceability. It creates an equitable ecosystem that supports ASM miners while advancing economic justice and sustainability. The platform provides ASM miners access to a reliable, transparent market for their minerals.
