Utilization of biological remains of cattle and domestic animals using biotechnology

Currently, our society is faced with the problem of accumulated biological waste, which creates a real threat to the biological safety of the country. The spread of such dangerous infections as anthrax, salmonella and other infections has set the state and society the task of finding an environmentally friendly and economically advantageous way to utilize biological waste. There are several methods of utilizing biological waste such as: incineration, recycling of safe waste, cattle burial grounds. All of them have a number of disadvantages, according to environmental or economic factors. For example, over time, cattle burial grounds have become sources of biological danger due to their deteriorating technical condition and the complexity of monitoring their technical condition, since it is not possible to ensure such long-term conservation of cattle burial grounds. In this regard, we have proposed a new technology based on the utilization of biowaste by destroying biowaste microbiologically. The technology we offer is based on the use of specially selected communities of microorganisms capable of rapid and effective decomposition of biological waste of animal origin - animal carcasses, slaughterhouse waste, etc. Rapid decomposition will be ensured by the use of ready-made calibrated communities of microorganisms supplied in the form of liquid preparations and loaded into waste collection and disposal sites. Simultaneously with the degradation of the biosubstrate (utilization), its complete neutralization will occur - suppression of coliform bacteria, clostridiosis and other especially dangerous infections common to humans and animals. The technology is based on the destruction of biological waste with a biopreparation developed by ZAO NPP Biomedkhim by introducing the biopreparation into the mass of biological waste and obtaining the result of decomposition in a period of 21-30 days. The technology was tested on cattle cemeteries together with the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Veterinary Medicine, where it confirmed its effectiveness as an environmentally friendly method of biowaste disposal with a high economic effect.

Today, Russia generates from 4 million to 6 million tons of plastic waste per year. Current sorting and processing capacities allow us to allocate no more than 12% of waste suitable for recycling and further use in the production of finished products. The rest of the waste, including cellulose-containing composite, is burned or buried in the soil, causing irreparable harm to the planet. By 2030, according to Vladimir Putin's instructions, it will be necessary to involve at least 25% of raw materials in secondary turnover. However, multicomponent waste is not used as a secondary raw material base. We intend to change that. SPAWN is the first company in the world to invent a technology for recycling this type of garbage. In addition to problems with recycling, there is now a shortage of environmentally friendly products on the market. Consumers are interested in functional, affordable, eco-friendly products, and for manufacturers such a request often becomes an unsolvable problem. Our recycling technology involves growing products from waste. We produce furniture, souvenirs, functional products and even building materials from waste using unique biotechnology. First, we grind the garbage, then add mushrooms to it and get a substance similar to mashed potatoes. Next, the mashed potatoes are put into the shape of the finished product. It can be a table, a chair, a candle holder and much more. And after 5 days, the mushroom grows, takes the necessary shape, and we get the finished product, which goes on sale. We can not only recycle the garbage polluting the planet, but also immediately make products from it, which are now made of plastic and wood. Thus, SPAWN not only reduces the amount of garbage in landfills, but also gives the market an environmentally friendly, cost-effective material. We replace wood, replace plastic – because our material is 2-7 times cheaper, more environmentally friendly and not inferior in its properties. One production cycle means two solved problems. One technology is saving the planet from garbage and saving its resources.

At the same time, when conducting career guidance classes with modern schoolchildren and students, there are certain difficulties due to the significant contribution of the Internet to their development. In resent years the prestige of engineering education and specialties has been constantly decreasing among young people who choosing their life path. Today, the most popular professional are manager, economist and such non-professional specialties as blogger. Therefore we need to pay attention to the popularization of engineering specialties and explanation their necessity for society and increasing the status of engineers in society. And the best time and place for future personnel of the country to meet with the energy professions is school. But unfortunately there is no such suitable system for current and future generations. This is confirmed by the answers received by scientists of the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences during a survey of university students in 2021. According to the surveys the most part of schoolchildren are determined with the choice of a future profession only by the end of their studies. A quarter choose a specialization by the 9th grade, 55% - in grades 10-11. Only half a percent made a decision after the open day at the university, 7% of schoolchildren listen to the advice of their teachers, and ten times more (70%) make a choice on their own. In general, among young professionals, less than a third (30%) say that school helped them choose a profession. 44% said that no one had done such work with them. At the same time, when conducting career guidance classes with modern schoolchildren and students, there are certain difficulties due to the significant contribution of the Internet to their growth. To solve the above problem, taking into account the peculiarities of modern youth, it is proposed to create a virtual interactive educational game for conducting classes on involving schoolchildren and students in engineering professions. The creation of this platform was carried out with grant funds received from the Federal Agency for Youth «Rosmolodezh». On the educational platform, 4 virtual models of existing energy facilities operating on renewable energy sources have been created — Volzhskaya HPP, Svistukhinskaya HPP, SES in Batgai (Yakutia), WPP in Ust — Kamchatsk (Kamchatka Territory). When visiting these facilities, students and schoolchildren are invited to take a virtual tour, a quest and mini-games. This way they will be able to get acquainted with the main equipment, technological process, the impact of these objects on the environment and the ecology of adjacent territories, and will also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with coding for creating such objects in virtual reality. A Russian open source project was used to create it. This project is a browser version of the world-famous computer game Minecraft.

The solution to this problem is the Neurobarometer hardware and software complex developed by Neurotrend, which allows to conduct network neuro-research and consists of: 20-channel EEG, 500 Hz Eyetracker, Photoplethysmogram module, Biobraslet, Primebox, Biosignal concentrator, which collects data from all modules of the complex and synchronizes them at the hardware level and a special software. The solution includes a wide range of metrics (indicators that transfer neurodata into market indicators, such as interest, attention, emotional involvement, memorability, etc.) and methodologies. On the basis of the Neurobarometer hardware and software complex a network of 17 neurolaboratories has been created at the largest universities, government agencies and companies in the Russian Federation which makes it possible to conduct network neuro-research and develop cognitive technologies in the Russian Federation.
