Key Technology and Application of Smart Oilfield Construction for Shale Oil

In response to the challenges of high labor intensity, large-scale development costs, stringent safety and environmental requirements, and significant governance difficulties in shale oil development, there is an urgent need to advance the scaled and cost-effective development of shale oil through intelligent construction. To address this, a series of cutting-edge technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Edge Computing, Big Data, etc., are adopted, supplemented by intelligent Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), water content analyzers, and dynamic oil level monitors. Closed-loop interlock control is used at the oil station, such as automatic switching of emergency processes and automatic smooth delivery of crude oil. These measures aim to provide reliable data support for process control, operational monitoring, condition diagnosis, production warning systems, and management decision-making. Furthermore, based on an industrial IoT architecture approach we have developed a comprehensive shale oil IoT cloud platform that encompasses 12 major functional modules covering geology, processing operations,and collection & transportation. This integrated platform facilitates deep integration between digitalization and business processes while delivering synergistic benefits.

From geology to engineering: a game-changing technique for fractured-porous carbonate reservoir in Central Asia

Through the reserch framework of "fundamental theory → technology research → engineering validation, the program presents a comprehensive approach for in-depth profile control in fractured-porpus carbonate reservoir, intergrating geological, reservoir, and engineering. In this research, the identification technology for low-angle fracture network connectivity and residual fluid occurrence in porous media has been established. A collaborative method and chemical system have been developed for the fractured porous carbonate reservoir. An integrated design method for in-depth confromance treatment, as well as an innovative intelligent control online injection and flooding technology, have been constructed.

According to WHO database there are over 20 % of the population above 75 y.o. suffering because of heart valves diseases (Lancet, March 2024). Furthermore there are more 20 thousands born children with congenital heart valves diseases only in Russia and unfortunately there is no ideal solution to fix it nowadays. The questions are reasonable. Implemented solutions: mechanical prothesis – lifelong usage of anticoagulants (warfarin), violation of natural anatomic structure • biological prothesis – biodegeneration, risk of immunological rejection, calcification • Ross’ operation – massive operational stress, infectious complications, long lasting ischemia, reoperation is necessary sometimes • Ozaki’s procedure – patented and expensive We suggest solution of all drawbacks listed. The solution- 3D-printed model of heart valve based on individual parameters and synthetized with a new polymer material composed of polycaprolactone and diaminocarbonic acids. The frame printed is served as matrix which will be colonized with patient’s cells. Survival rate of seeded cells is over 90 %. An implanted bioprothesis gradually degrade in patient organism while is being germinated with new vessels, tissues and cells. It takes about 3 years.

The lack of clear international standards for work shoes leads to incorrect ordering and use of work shoes, which leads to foot injuries, development of various foot deformations and decreased labor productivity, especially in areas where there are dangerous and harmful production factors. By updating and analyzing the sizes of work shoes, using 3-D scanning, this problem is successfully solved and a database of employees is created, allowing dynamic monitoring of health and preventive measures to reduce the load on the feet of personnel during shifts, as well as reducing errors when ordering work shoes by size and fullness.

Nanocomposite vaccine adjuvant assists in antiviral therapy

Subunit vaccine antigens are usually combined with adjuvants to enhance the efficacy of vaccines. Aluminum adjuvants (Alum) are currently the most widely used adjuvants. In long-term use, it has been found that Alum can stimulate the body to produce potent Th2-mediated humoral immunity; however Alum is difficult to stimulate sufficient Th1 type cell immune responses, which affects the effectiveness of antiviral therapy. This solution award has developed a novel layered Mg/Al double hydroxide (LDH)-nucleic acid nanocomposite vaccine adjuvant. This nanoadjuvant is supported by LDH and adsorbs a large amount of antigens and DNA long chains containing CpG ODN immune adjuvant through electrostatic interactions. In terms of immune activation, Mg/Al LDH plays a role similar to Alum, assisting antigens in inducing strong humoral immune responses; Meanwhile, CpG ODN induces efficient cellular immune response by binding to TLR-9 on lysosomal membrane, achieving activation of Th1 type immune response. Compared to traditional Alum, this nanoadjuvant has better immune therapeutic effects and assists in antiviral therapy.

Tiger identification system

Amur tiger is the northernmost and the largest tiger subspecies in the world. Specialists perform the monitoring of its habitat and population by foot and using trail cameras. More than 24 million photos of tigers are made annually in tiger habitat in Russia and it takes from six to nine months for preservation specialists to process them. This leads to outdated information and various cases of late help (for example, for ill animal), uninformed animal attacks or late understanding of ecosystem changes. Tiger identification system aims to provide more information on tiger species, its population, habitat and behavior, increase the speed and accuracy of the species monitoring, accelerate the response from preservation specialists and, so, help to preserve the tigers. And AI is the main enabler. Based on photos from photo traps located in the tiger habitat the AI-based system allows to detect a tiger and identify specific tiger based on its unique stripes pattern as well as to provide necessary analytics. As a result, preservation specialists can receive prompt information in a few days. The project was initiated by the Amur Tiger Center, the leading tiger preservation organization in Russia, and is being implemented jointly with Sber and the Far Eastern Artificial Intelligence Center of the FEFU.

Multilingual Electronic Dictionary and Thesaurus: This tool provides definitions and usage examples of UAS terms in five languages: Russian, English, Chinese, French, and Spanish. By doing so, it ensures that all stakeholders, regardless of their native language, can access and understand the correct terminology. 2. UAS Term Aggregator: The aggregator continuously collects and organizes new terms emerging in the UAS industry. This helps keep the dictionary up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations. 3. UAS Documentation Compiler: This feature assists in creating standardized UAS documentation in Russian and English, with plans to expand to other languages. It ensures that documents are consistent and adhere to industry standards, facilitating smoother certification processes and international cooperation.
